Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter apologises for bar incident

Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter was arrested earlier this month, following a fight at Hog’s Breath Saloon in Key West. The incident took place on 13 January and the singer was charged with misdemeanor battery.

Carter has now apologised on Twitter, by saying that he’s only human, and “at times it can be a struggle to balance a healthy lifestyle”.

This is not the first time Carter has been involved in such a quarrel, though, as in 2002, he was arrested after a similar incident at a nightclub in Tampa. He then agreed to pay a fine and complete community service, so charges were dismissed.

In 2005, Carter was also found guilty of drinking while driving. Well, let’s hope that’s that!
