Taylor Swift has now officially unveiled the music video for New Romantics, the seventh and final single off her 1989 record. Even though the song is not part of the main album – but one of the three bonus tracks in the deluxe version – it surely deserved a vibrant clip like this one!
The video includes footage from Swift’s hugely successful ‘1989 World Tour’, with the singer showing her appreciation to her fans as well as everyone who worked hard on it. The outcome looks amazing and it does make me jealous for not being able to attend any of the shows!
As Swift mentions in the clip, “I don’t want to forget anything that happened on this tour. It’s one of those remarkable moments in time when everything felt exciting… Looking out into an endless ocean of crowd, that was everything. We’re all really sad that it’s ending but we’re really happy because of what it was.”
Already released a week ago via Apple Music, the clip is now available for everyone to watch on YouTube. So feel free to enjoy Taylor’s spectacular shows through it and relieve the magic if you were one of the lucky ones to be there. So long, 1989! Hopefully there’s still more fun to come.
