Beyoncé celebrates 35th birthday with standalone ‘Hold Up’ video

Hold Up originally premiered as part of Lemonade, the visual album Beyoncé released via Tidal back in April. But now, Queen Bey decided to upload the clip as a standalone video on YouTube, as a gift to her fans, in view of her 35th birthday this past Sunday.

The clip, awarded with the Best Female Video VMA about a week ago, is now available for everyone to experience – bat-smashing cars and all… Poignant against infidelity and with a music video that couldn’t be more fitting, Hold Up is surely a piece of art on its own.

However, this is not the first standalone clip to be released from Lemonade, as Sorry was also uploaded in June. Hopefully there’s many more to come, so that we can relive Beyoncé’s latest gem track by track. In the meantime, you can stream or download Lemonade in its entirety here
