When We Were Young is one my favourite Adele songs and even though there’s no other singer who could pull it off so beautifully as Adele herself, Demi Lovato did surprisingly well!
Lovato performed the song live for the first time on Friday night, as part of her and Nick Jonas’ Future Now tour. The singer is known for her amazing vocals and although this track has a soul of its own, she managed to make it sound uniquely mesmerising all over again.
One thing’s for sure; Lovato is a fan of Adele’s, and these covers are a gift that keeps on giving! She was just as stunning when covering Hello a few months back, so who knows? Perhaps there’s a Lovato-Adele collaboration on the cards! Until then, keep the covers coming!
