Throwback Thursday!

Out of all the ‘90s and ‘00s girlbands, Atomic Kitten would definitely be the one to forget. However, some of their cover songs, like The Tide Is High and Eternal Flame, beautifully reinvented the originals.

Eternal Flame was first written and performed by the Bangles, and featured in their 1988 Everything album. Many years later, the song was covered by Atomic Kitten for the re-issue of their debut album, Right Now, released in 2001. Whichever version you prefer, this live performance surely highlights the girls’ amazing vocals.

“Say my name, sun shines through the rain
Of all life so lonely”
