Throwback Thursday!

I’ve always loved this K’s Choice single, mostly thanks to its smart lyrics and beautiful concept. I think it’s one of those songs that defined the late ‘90s pop-rock scene.

Everything For Free was released in 1998, as part of the band’s third studio album, Cocoon Crash. What’s interesting is how both the track and the music video manage to raise awareness on mental health, in a subtle yet deeply affecting way.

“Where I go, what I’ll become or who I am or what I’ll be
I’ll never know, but I am sure that I’ll get everything for free”
