Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton cover ‘Waterfalls’ to promote new season of The Voice

The Voice coaches gathered around for an intimate acoustic session to introduce the talent show’s upcoming season starting on Monday (27 February) – and it was magical.

Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton covered TLC’s 1994 hit Waterfalls in their own unique way. Even though the song is by now a classic, they’ve managed to give it a new, more melodic and less pop, life, their amazing voices being totally in sync.

I love how their vocals blend so smoothly and I’m kind of impressed by Stefani’s and Keys’ take on the late Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes’ rap verse! After the performance, Levine enthusiastically said, “That’s how you sing, America!”. I couldn’t agree more.
