Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Pink and more pay respects to Orlando victims with charity single

When a number of talented singers join forces to raise money for the victims of last month’s Orlando shooting and their families, the outcome can only mean one thing; a very emotional and powerful song, full of amazing voices.

Co-written by Justin Tranter – a songwriter who’s worked with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefani and more – Hands features vocals from 24 acts, including Stefani and Gomez, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Juanes, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, P!nk, Nate Ruess and Meghan Trainor.

According to Billboard, when Tranter heard the news of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub, he decided to volunteer at The Center Orlando, an LGBT community center. “I called them and said, ‘If I fly up is there something for me to help with?’” Tranter explained. “They say, ‘We need as many hands as we can possibly get.’”

Meghan Trainor performs ‘No’ at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2016

It’s about time we listened to a good girl-power song, and Meghan Trainor’s No is just that! The singer performed her latest single live at the iHeartRadio Music Awards last night, leaving everyone in the crowd breathless with her amazing vocals and sassy dance moves!

No promotes female empowerment, its lyrics suggesting that no man should consider a woman as their property, forcing them to do anything against their will. With Kesha’s case all over the news for the past weeks, this song inspires women to fend for themselves and regain their confidence.

The track was originally written about producer L.A. Reid, who, as Trainor said in an interview, did not initially believe in her upcoming album. You may watch the official video for No here.

* Meghan Trainor’s new album, Thank You, is due for release on 13 May.

Singletons rejoice! Meghan Trainor is also flying solo this Valentine’s Day

In case you recently broke up and you “never knew what it was like to be alone on a Valentine’s Day”, as Linkin Park would sing, or in case you’ve been single for ages, don’t worry about it; Meghan Trainor feels the same way.

The pop singer revealed to Seventeen magazine that by focusing on her career, she has put her love life on the back burner. But hey, it’s a small price to pay, when you’re living your wildest dreams. Plus, who knows when Cupid will knock on your door, right?

Trainor said, “I knew my life would be complicated if my dreams of becoming a success in music came true. And I knew I’d have to work hard to achieve those dreams, and that they’d have to take a front seat in my life. So even though I went cray in high school, now I haven’t kissed a boy in forever.

“I keep telling myself that the right guy is going to be worth the wait. When I find the one, it’s going to be like, ‘Damn, that’s why you took so long! ‘Cause you’re awesome!”

Yup, that’s what we’ll tell ourselves, too, Meghan.

Meghan Trainor reveals new music video

It’s still ‘all about that bass’ and Meghan Trainor is back with a new hit! Lips Are Movin’ is the second single to be released off Title, the singer’s successful debut album.

Trainor clearly loves her time on the spotlight, embracing her curvy image, which some girls should really look up to instead of opting for an anorexic figure. I also love the fact that her clips are always filled with colours, making our lives just a little bit brighter!

Plus, the girl can dance and no lying about that!
